Frequently Asked Questions

Can you describe your photography style?

My photography style is true-to-color, authentic, and vibrant. I strive for a realistic yet polished look in my editing; my goal is to bring out the richness of each moment without over-editing or making the colors look unnatural. Throughout the session, I focus on natural posing and genuine interactions, ensuring that every shot feels effortless, comfortable, and true to you.

What is the booking process?

Let's chat! We'll begin by discussing your needs and what exactly your are looking for in your session. Next we'll select a date and location (don't worry, I know plenty of great spots that I can recommend). Then I'll send over our contract which can be returned with your deposit. We'll touch base again the week of the shoot to go over any last minute details, at which time the remainder of the balance is due. Following the shoot, within 48 hours I'll provide a link for you to view your proofs. Once you make your final selections from the proofs, your finished product will be delivered within two weeks.

How far in advance should we book you?

I am generally booked three months out for portrait sessions and longer for events and weddings. If you’d like to book me, please message me as soon as possible. Spots fill quickly, especially during the peak seasons of summer and fall!

Where are you located? Will you travel?

While I’m located in Denver, I’m available for travel and would be delighted to capture your session wherever you’re planning. I’m happy to discuss travel arrangements and expenses for any location you have in mind.

What is your specialty?

My specialty lies in senior portraits, family portraits, and branding portraits, where I focus on capturing authentic moments with a polished, vibrant touch. I also enjoy photographing special events and weddings, and from time to time, I indulge in real estate photography for a change of pace. Each session allows me to explore different aspects of storytelling through photography.

Will you help me pose?

Absolutely! I’ll guide you through the entire session with gentle direction to help you feel relaxed and confident. My goal is to make the posing feel natural and comfortable, so you’ll look and feel your best in every shot.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, absolutely! I love incorporating pets into photo sessions (they are part of the family, after all!) Just let me know ahead of time so we can plan the best way to capture those special moments!

What sort of retouching will you do?

All images will undergo color correction, leveling, and cropping as needed. I will retouch minor "temporary concerns" in your final portraits, such as clothing wrinkles, acne, chipped nail polish, and stray hairs. I will also remove any distractions (such as if another person wanders into frame). More extensive edits (including "head swaps" or more detailed modifications) can be done upon request for an additional fee. If you have any specific concerns, feel free to discuss them with me before the session.

Will I get the unedited RAW files?

No, however you will receive high-resolution JPG files that have been carefully edited in a style consistent with my portfolio, ensuring the final images are polished and cohesive.

Do you offer prints?

Yes! I offer print options through a professional photography lab in your online gallery. When you select your photos, the gallery system will send them to the lab, which will then mail the prints directly to you. Payment for prints is processed separately, and credit cards are accepted.
